Spend an exceptional few days in the French countryside, just as the best days of autumn are upon us with a truly inspired workshop leader. Gail Rieke. You’ll walk down country lanes gathering inspiration and materials which you’ll put together in a number of unique travel journals. You will learn to compose your pages in ways that express your own individual experience of the world. Several creative binding techniques will be demonstrated. You will be able to enjoy the processes of other participants as each student will be encouraged and supported to create diverse journal forms. In that way, we will all learn from one another. About Gail
Gail Rieke lives and works in Santa Fe, New
Mexico. She specializes in travel journalmaking.
She has received numerous awards
for her unique collage and assemblage
art. Her work and studio, which is in itself
a work of art, have been featured in many
publications dedicated to the arts. Her work
is widely exhibited and placed in many
private collections. She is an experienced
and inspirational workshop leader, having led
groups in the U.S. and Japan. This is her first
European course.
